The Healthy Start Program is an exciting and worthwhile program that is available to pregnant women, infants and children up to the age of three. This program is available to everyone free of charge. Trained, knowledgeable, friendly and caring staff members are there to help and support clients throughout the client's pregnancy and after the birth of the child.

Our goal is to reduce infant mortality, reduce the number of low birth weight infants, and improve health and developmental outcomes through education and services.

Our services include:

  • Breastfeeding Education
  • Car Seat Safety Classes
  • Certified Lactation Counselors
  • Childbirth Education and Classes
  • Home visits to help assess your needs, provide prenatal education and parenting skills
  • Inter-Conceptual Counseling and Education
  • Pregnancy Medicaid Information
  • Psychosocial Services
  • Referrals to receive additional medical care
  • Referrals for WIC
  • Smoking Cessation Education
  • Transportation Information and Assistance
